March 8th is International Women’s Day. This day was celebrated in Lahore at Popcorn Studio Gulberg, organized by Women Empowerment Networking’s owner and founder, Ms. Zainab Zaheer. FemmeRepublica CEO Mahvish Akhtar. Scale Her Summit (#scalehersummit) invited young entrepreneurs who wanted to start their vocation and learn from the respected guests’ experience.

The Guest of Honor, Ms. Farah Iqrar, was among the speakers. She is a renowned journalist and TV personality who has worked as an anchor on the Samma channel and news networks such as ARY and ABTAK News.
She now has a YouTube channel called Farah Iqrar Vlogs, where she documents her life and stays connected to her fans. The one thing her fans and admirers love about her is that she likes to communicate with them one-on-one.
Ms. Farah believes in giving personal attention to those she caters to. She wants everyone to feel special; her clients and those she helps will attest to this. She was there to launch her newest project, Circle of Care, by Farah. According to Ms. Farah, this project will bring together young women looking for help with work, business, or personal struggles.
Circle of Care by Farah aims to build a community that will open up collaboration opportunities for businesses needing help or wanting to expand.

The second guest speaker, Fatimah Mukhtar, owns Graces Consulting. Ms. Mukhtar is a force to be reckoned with. She shared her resilience story, marching to the beat of her drums. She started a daycare center for the rich and famous and landed on entrepreneur services for those stepping into the world of working for themselves.

Femmerepublica’s Mahvish Akhtar is a journalist, a Behavioral Sciences coach, and a counselor: Harvard certified communications specialist & certified in the psychology of selling and buying.
Femmerepublica focuses on Mental Health services for women in a safe, private environment. They also assist new female entrepreneurs by marketing their products on their website. Femmecart was created for female business owners, so they wouldn’t have to worry about the sales of the product or service. Femmecart will make the marketing campaign and advertise for you.
Ms. Mahvish Akhtar emphasized the importance of understanding the difference between failing and being a failure in her talk. She said we should learn from our mistakes and keep moving forward. She said, our entire lives are filled with learning experiences. When we start thinking we have learned enough and feel there is no fault in us or in our work, that is when we have stopped growing; that is proof that we do not know enough.

Special guests also included Dr. Shah Bano, a heart health healer. Recently, she created a product called Nutricot, which received approval from Dr. Izhar Ahmed, the President of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Lahore chapter.
She gives information and helps with healing and healthy living.
She discussed sticking to the difficult path and eventually even those who did not believe in you will gradually understand the importance of your work. They will see why it was vital for you to continue.

Ms. Noor-ul-Saba, founder of MujeeburRahman Foundation for disabled persons, came to show support and gain allies for her cause. She is also differently abled. The event organizers felt honored and pleased to host her. Ms. Zainab said in an interview, “We are honored by Ms. Noor’s presence and support. Ms. Mahvish and Ms. Zainab said they look forward to furthering their relationship with the foundation and Ms. Noor.
After the event was successfully completed, the participants were given certificates of participation and presented with gifts by Farah Iqrar and Zainab Zaheer.
